Kathmandu . inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, has launched the ‘Ride to Support’ campaign in Nepal, a community-driven initiative aimed at supporting the development of sports facilities in local primary schools.
Running throughout the month of May, the campaign will contribute 10% of every third ride’s fare toward renovating playgrounds in primary schools and providing kits to them for basketball, badminton and futsal.
The Ride to Support campaign by inDrive is a testament to the company’s dedication to challenge injustice and create positive change for all the communities.
With every third ride, users are not just reaching their destinations—they are taking a step towards transforming local school playgrounds and empowering children through sports.
“We believe that by mobilizing our community through purpose-driven initiatives like ‘Ride to Donate,’ we can amplify our impact and inspire others to join us in building a more equitable society,” said Ms. Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communication Lead, inDrive. ” As every ride isn’t just a trip, it’s a step towards change. Every ride taken during the month of May contributes to making a difference in the lives of young students, providing them with safe and well-equipped spaces to play and grow.”
The funds raised during the campaign will be directed toward renovating playgrounds and supplying sports kits, ensuring children in primary schools have access to quality sports facilities. This initiative aligns with inDrive’s mission to challenge social injustice and promote equal opportunities for underserved communities.
inDrive invites all its users to be a part of the ‘Ride to Support’ movement. Together, one ride at a time, the community can help pave the way for a brighter and fairer future for Nepal’s children.
