Kathmandu. Two persons have been arrested for cheating in the name of foreign employment. A team from The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested two persons from Narephant of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32 on June 14.
The arrestees have been identified as Laxman Parajuli, 44, of Ratuwamai Municipality-10, Morang and Arun Raj Sharma, 47, of Sabela Municipality-12, Dhanusha.
They were handed over to the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal, Kathmandu on June 10 for necessary investigation and action, police said.
According to the police, they have so far duped 38 victims of Rs 110.69 million on the pretext of sending them to the UK for foreign employment.
Mahesh Limbu has lodged a complaint in this regard.
