World’s tallest bridge under construction in Guizhou, China

Kathmandu. The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, nestled in the mountains of China’s Guizhou Province, is set to become the world’s tallest bridge.

When its main structure is completed in January this year, the suspension bridge will have a vertical height of 625 meters, measured from the bridge deck to the river surface.

Wang Yujuan is in charge of documenting the construction of the bridge. The 2,890-meter-long bridge has a main span of 1,420 meters.
