Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that positive thinking, behavior and self-confidence are necessary for everyone to achieve a common destination that makes the country prosperous and the people happy.

‘In the new year, we are looking for new energy, new resolutions and new possibilities. I am confident that this year will inspire all of us to develop hope, enthusiasm and positive thinking. “It is our common resolve to make the country prosperous and the people happy,” he said.

Prime Minister Oli said in the message, “The government alone is not enough to realize the common aspirations of the nation. We can only achieve success in this with the joint efforts, hard work and contributions of all Nepalis inside and outside the country.”

Prime Minister Oli said that ethnic, regional, cultural and religious diversity are the common assets of our nation and emphasized that we should move forward by developing unity between them as a strength, not as opposing forces.

Today, development in the country is not just a dream but a reality. Meanwhile, the physical infrastructure built in rural areas has started to have a direct positive impact on people’s lives. The Prime Minister has mentioned the reforms in the social service system as achievements of the democratic system.

Prime Minister Oli has stated in his message that the government has adopted a policy to make the youth self-reliant and confident through entrepreneurship, technology, education and self-employment in order to bring their enthusiasm, energy and creativity into the mainstream of nation-building as the youth are the potential of the nation.

In his message, the Prime Minister said, ‘We should not only look at the changes brought about by the country’s democratic system, but also embrace it, celebrate it as a festival and take a resolve to move forward in a more positive direction. We should overcome the tendency to try to lead the country on the wrong path by spreading despair and move forward with faith in patriotism, unity and progress.’
