Myagdi. A man killed his wife with a stick this morning in Beni Municipality-7 Mangalaghat. Raju BK, a resident of Paribeni, Jaljala Rural Municipality-3, Parbat, and currently of Arantol, Mangalaghat, killed his wife Bhagwati BK, 27, when he threw a stick at her, the District Police Office has said.
Police Inspector Sagar Poudel informed that the deceased has been taken to Beni Hospital for an autopsy and that Raju, who had absconded after the incident, has been arrested while hiding in the Jyamrukkot Community Forest of Beni Municipality-2 and an investigation has been initiated.
Initial investigation has revealed that Bhagwati, who threw a stick at his wife’s head during a dispute over a domestic matter, died on the spot.
