Prime Minister Oli has not received support from the Indian government. There is high pressure on President Deuba to become the Prime Minister. The CPN-Maoist Center, the Unified Socialist Party and the National Independent Party have already promised to support Deuba in making him the Prime Minister. Sources claim that Congress President Deuba also raised questions about the issue of handing over power after 14 months in Saturday’s meeting. Second-tier Congress leaders are putting heavy pressure on President Deuba, saying that Prime Minister Oli can extend his term by bringing parties including the Maoists to power after 14 months. .
