Kathmandu. CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed ignorance about the functioning of the House. Talking to media persons after a meeting with CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal at Singha Durbar on Thursday, he expressed his ignorance.
Chairman Dahal, who had said a few days ago that the deadlock in parliament would end within a few days, expressed ignorance about whether the parliament would resume even after two years. Opposition parties, including the main opposition parties, have been obstructing parliament demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the visit visa issue.
Nearly two weeks have passed since the House has not resumed. Responding to a question from media persons about this, Chairman Dahal said that a meeting of the opposition parties would be held at the Parliament House again and a decision would be taken. “There is a discussion about the House. Now we are holding a meeting of the opposition again. After the meeting of the opposition, you will know what to do. ’
Chairman Dahal said that it would be decided whether the house would resume or the obstruction would continue only after the meeting of the opposition and discussions were held with CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal about the obstruction of the parliament.
