Currently, the country is under the influence of westerly winds and the weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country is clear. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that fog has settled in many places in the Terai.
According to the department, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces this afternoon, while the weather will be clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
