Kathmandu. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey has pledged to reform Nepal Airlines and leave it. Speaking at the meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee held at Singha Durbar on Thursday, he made this commitment.
He said that he would not rest without reforming Nepal Airlines. He said that it is necessary for the committee, parliamentarians, and the government to take a resolution to reform Nepal Airlines. He informed that it is inevitable to identify the problem and improve it.
He said that there is a need to improve the relationship between CAN and Nepal Airlines. He said that since Nepal Airlines Corporation and Nepal Airlines are service provider organizations, there is a need for coordination and cooperation with each other. He informed that there will be no return without cooperation and sincerity.
Minister Pandey claimed that the scope of the civil aviation sector will never decrease. He said that if the Nepal Airlines Corporation can provide services, there will be no shortage of passengers. He informed that the airline can be greatly strengthened if the number of aircraft also increases with the increase in the number of airports. He said that it is necessary to build airports in some of the hilly regions of Nepal (Karnali, Koshi and Gandaki) that can handle large aircraft.
