Kathmandu. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India has given high priority to its relations with Nepal. He said that his meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Hotel Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, Thailand was fruitful.
‘We discussed various aspects of India-Nepal friendship, especially in areas such as energy, connectivity, culture and digital technology,’ Prime Minister Modi said on social media. He also said that some of the major positive outcomes achieved from this year’s BIMSTEC summit, especially in the areas of disaster management and maritime transport, were discussed.
Prime Minister Oli and his Indian counterpart Modi had a one-on-one meeting for about 45 minutes this afternoon.
