Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has said that the educational quality of community schools in Kathmandu Constituency No. 1 is not inferior to that of private schools. He said this while addressing the 77th anniversary celebration of Padyakanya Vidyashram Madhyamik Vidyalaya on Monday.
He said that since he led Kathmandu Constituency No. 1, he has been emphasizing on the physical infrastructure and educational quality of community schools.
He said that the federal, provincial and local governments are still emphasizing on increasing the physical infrastructure and quality of community schools. He informed that community schools are not inferior to the private sector in providing quality education and extracurricular activities. Deputy Prime Minister Singh mentioned the important role of community schools in developing the overall personality of students.
