Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that efforts have been made to address the suggestions made by the High Level Economic Suggestions Reform Commission in the budget.
He said this while addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Tuesday on the implementation of the report of the High-Level Economic Suggestions Reform Commission.
He said the government was committed to addressing the issues suggested by the Commission and could be addressed in the budget. Stating that the commission’s suggestions included various issues including amendment of laws, he said that he was more focused on the issues that could be addressed through the budget.
Stating that the time for presenting the budget is nearing, he said that he was studying the suggestions given by the organizations including the Confederation of Nepalese Industries. He claimed that the pressure of budget formulation was in the period.
“I am trying to address the issues suggested by the Commission and which can be addressed in the budget,” he said. There are some issues related to the amendment of the law. There are also issues such as a law, the amendment of that law, another obligation it creates, the management of that obligation, and the issues that can be implemented by completing many procedures. As a result, I am more focused on what can be addressed through the budget. ‘
“The CNI has also submitted a proposal to the ministry a few days ago with suggestions along with all its teams. I’m looking at that too. Other private sector organizations and other organizations are also giving suggestions. I’m also looking at those things. We are in the pressure period of budget making. “I will be a part of the process of filtering out how much is possible, how much is not possible, how much is legitimate, how much is not valid, how much is not justified by incorporating the suggestions given here in the budget making process,” he said.
He said that the commission’s report has presented the problems of the economy and has also given solutions.
