Visit visa issue: Maoists do not obstruct Parliament, RASTRP, RPP continue to protest

Kathmandu. Opposition parties have also protested in friday’s meeting of the House of Representatives. The main opposition CPN (Maoist Centre) did not protest in the House of Representatives meeting held on Friday.

Lawmakers of Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party stood up in parliament and protested. Speaker Devraj Ghimire gave time to CPN (Maoist Centre) Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey to speak.

However, parliament remains disrupted as the RASTRIYA Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) are protesting. Speaker Ghimire has been urging the lawmakers to take the seat to create an atmosphere for speaking in the parliament.
