The board of Stanchuli Management and Services in the UK has awarded the certificate after evaluating Vision Lumbini’s financial, administrative, performance, project development and design, construction, etc., informed the company’s executive director, Jagat Pokharel.
At a program organized by Vision Lumbini Energy Company Limited, which has its office in the Butwal Power Company building in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, on Sunday to receive the certificate, he said that Vision Lumbini is committed to adhering to world-class values and standards in the operation of the company. .
He said that even though the company has many investors, this company has put transparency and good governance at the center. At the program, Ganesh Karki, President of the Independent Power Producers Association (IPPAN), emphasized that all energy companies should obtain such a certificate like Vision Lumbini Energy Company.
He said that if energy companies develop a tendency to follow international standards, it will help reduce the doubts and criticisms seen in the energy sector.
Press Council Nepal President Balkrishna Basnet, who participated in the program as a guest, said that Vision Lumbini, which has been working to meet international standards for a long time, has now received the certificate and confirmed it. .
He mentioned that after receiving the international quality mark and certificate, it was ensured that the investment made in Vision Lumbini would not be misused. He believed that Vision Lumbini was capable of giving the message that there are also reliable, transparent and internationally operating companies in the country.
He emphasized that the Nepali media should prioritize business issues by giving the message that there are many organized and transparent companies like Vision Lumbini in Nepal. Santosh Giri, the representative of the organization responsible for the evaluation to award the certificate, informed that the international quality mark and certificate were awarded only after evaluating the company from all sides for three months.
