Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Rajendra Kumar KC has said that vehicles used in schools should be monitored. During the emergency session of the House of Representatives, MP KC has drawn the attention of the relevant ministry through Speaker Devraj Ghimire to inspect the condition of vehicles used in schools in rural areas, citing the school bus accident that occurred in Dakshinkali Municipality-3, Bhanjyang on Sunday.
He urged free treatment for the 35 students injured in the accident. ‘Especially in rural areas, old vehicles have been found to be used in schools. Even when they are worn out, they are not inspected and monitored,’ said MP KC.
