Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Executive Director Guru Prasad Poudel has said that 515 million Nepali youths have entered Nepal using technology in the current fiscal year so far.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Executive Director Poudel said that they have been able to bring the money to Nepal by using a laptop from home. He said that the removal of tax on digital payments is believed to support the digital economy.
“The budget is and should be a bit ambitious. It seems to be trying to do something good in the financial sector. The target is to see where the financial sector will go in the next five years. The central bank will think about digital banks. There is a need for some basic infrastructure for digital banking,” he said.
