‘US tariff policy hinders global trade’ Tanzanian analyst

Agency. Tanzanian analyst Humphrey Moshi has expressed concern over the misuse of tariffs by the US, warning that it could impose unbearable costs on global trade.

He said its use contradicted the principles and essence of international trade and international cooperation. He said the need for trade and cooperation between countries was inevitable. He said any misconception or disagreement with natural laws would lead to unbearable costs on global trade.

He argued that it would increase production costs in both importing and exporting countries, making it counterproductive to adopt this measure.
