Kathmandu. Upendra Yadav-led Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has withdrawn its support to the Lumbini provincial government.

JSP Nepal has withdrawn its support, saying that the budget lacks good governance and inclusiveness, and that the government itself has failed, and that the party has lost its justification for continuing to support the provincial government, said Ambika Kafle, a member of the provincial assembly on behalf of the party.

Kafle is the only MP from JSP Nepal in Lumbini. Other MPs have joined the JSP, which was split by Ashok Rai.

According to Article 188, Clause 2 of the Constitution of Nepal, the letter withdrawing support from the government led by Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has been submitted to the Speaker.

JSP Nepal has also decided to withdraw support from the government at the center. Due to JSP Nepal, the possibility of the National Assembly passing the budget is becoming less.
