Two women killed in Kapilvastu car crash

Kapilvastu. Two women were killed when their car hit them at Basantapur of Buddhabhumi Municipality-1.

The car (BAD 9599) en route to Gorusinge on the Gorusinge-Arghakhanchi road section hit them this morning, said Birat Sharma Poudel, police inspector at the Area Police Office, Gorusinge.

Shanta Khatri, 60, and Til Kumari Rayamajhi, 65, who were seriously injured in the accident, died on the way to Kapilvastu Hospital, Taulihawa.

Police have arrested the driver, Khimraj Shrestha, 32, of Sainamaina municipality-5 of Rupandehi.
