Makawanpur. Two roads connecting Makawanpur and Kathmandu districts, which were closed for road upgrading and maintenance, have been reopened. Thankot-Chitlang road (Ganeshaman Marg) and Matatirtha road have been reopened since this morning, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police, Shyam Aryal.
According to Pranau Aryal, both the roads were closed for road upgrading from Paush 7 and Paush 22. Similarly, only one-way vehicles are operating on the Kulekhani-Fakhel road section and Kulekhani-Sisneri-Dakshinkali road section connecting Makawanpur-Kathmandu, Pranau Aryal said.
