Nepalgunj. Banke: Two persons have been arrested with Rs 500,000 in cash in Banke. They were arrested from Jayaspur of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-16 while they were trying to enter Nepal through Rupadiha, the Nepal-India border area.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Deepak Patali, informed that Neeraj Chaurasia, 40, of Lucknow and Saina Nepali, 26, of Purandhara in Dad were sent to the Revenue Investigation Office, Kohalpur today.
A total of Rs 5 00,000 including Rs 600 in cash and 1,000 units of Rs 200 denomination were seized from them. Police also recovered a Suzuki vehicle (UP 32 LB 6389). They were arrested on Thursday.
