Kathmandu. TVS Motor Company, the world’s leading company in the manufacture of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has celebrated The World Environment Day by organizing a tree plantation program in Kathmandu.
Lions Club of Kathmandu New Waves and Budhanilkantha Municipality jointly planted 100 saplings in Budhanilkantha-1, Taulung and Chowkidanda areas. This tree plantation program also marked another historic achievement.
TVS iCube users have completed a combined 5 million kilometers journey in Nepal. The sustainable campaign has been able to save 1.4 lakh litres of fuel (valued at 22 million) and has reduced emissions by 350 tonnes, an environmental impact equivalent to planting 15,000 trees.
