Speaking after a meeting of party office-bearers and former office-bearers held at party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha on Monday. Prakash Sharan Mahat said this.

Stating that efforts were being made to break the boundaries of the constitution in a non-constitutional manner, he said the parties concerned should take it seriously. “This constitution is not a constitution given by anyone, it is a constitution made by the Nepali people themselves,” he said. Since it is a constitution made through our representatives, it is our responsibility to protect this constitution. I think all the content should be improved on the basis of experience. The parliament, an institution of people’s representatives, takes it forward. Therefore, the government has said that we should take forward the issues of constitution amendment. It is unfair to break the boundaries of the constitution in an unconstitutional manner. We believe that the concerned parties should take it seriously. ‘
