Kathmandu. A heated exchange of views between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky took place in the Oval Office on Friday. The two leaders clashed as they made their respective positions during the talks. After US President Trump disagreed with what he said during the talks, Trump, angered by Zelensky’s remarks, told him, “You either have to be willing to make a deal. The United States has gone out of its way to help Ukraine.” The meeting, which was intended to ease tensions over the sudden US intervention in Russia, led to a rift between them. “You are gambling with the lives of millions of people. You are gambling on the possibility of World War III, and what you are doing is a disgrace to this country,” Trump said. Zelensky visited the White House at the invitation of US President Trump to discuss sharing Ukraine’s mineral resources and a peace deal with Russia, despite the US president recently calling his Ukrainian counterpart a dictator.
