Kathmandu. The National Assembly meeting has passed the ‘Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081’. The meeting unanimously passed the proposal presented by Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidya Bhattarai in the meeting to pass the ‘Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081’.
Before that, the bill was discussed. Responding to the questions raised in the discussion, Minister Bhattarai said that the Tilganga Eye University Bill was brought because there is a need to expand quality education and access to eye health services in the field of eye health in higher education in Nepal.
He said that it is necessary to establish a public university as an excellent academic center in the field of eye health services.
