Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed not to invite those who do not attend the programmes organized by the government from next time. He issued the directive while addressing a meeting of the Republic Day Main Celebration Committee held at Singha Durbar on Monday.
Targeting Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Sah, he said that he should always be invited to the program but never came.
Stating that the names are always called in the programs organized by any government, but they do not come, he instructed them not to name them from the upcoming program by looking at their records. He said that it is not good to hang the names of those who do not understand any meaning and importance all the time.
Pm Oli said, “Never come, the name should be kept. Why is it possible to leave the practice of honor for the sake of honor? Some people are kept in every function. It never appears. If you look for such a person, you think you will find it. Never come, the name should always be pasted, there is no meaning, there is no importance, if there is no meaning, then the name is not always hanging. Don’t come, you should always be called. It doesn’t happen. Ask for it by next time. See, not even once of the record comes. If you do not come by looking at that record or not, do not keep the name. Every time history is made, names should be printed, people will not come. ’
Prime Minister Oli said that the Republic Day should be celebrated at the people’s level and not rely only on government programmes.
