‘Those who are accustomed to violating the Constitution are equally prone to violating the law’

Kathmandu. CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has accused the Congress-UML-led government of challenging multi-party democracy and trying to advance a two-party system. Addressing the party’s central committee meeting on Friday, Chairman Nepal accused the current government of trying to implement a one-party dictatorship in the name of a two-party system.

He said that an attempt is being made to eliminate small and rival parties and implement dictatorship in the entire country. He commented on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, saying that those who are used to violating the constitution are also eager to violate the law. He accused the government of violating the rules and regulations of the parliament. He also mentioned that the current government is being presented in a way that strangles the throats of critics.

He claimed that although incidents of untouchability and rape of women are increasing in the country, the perpetrators have not been punished. He said that the party organization should be further strengthened to solve the existing problems in the society. He mentioned that various misinformation has been spread about the party in the society and urged the leaders and workers not to be fooled by such misinformation.
