Kathmandu. Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has said that the government will move forward as per the agreement reached between the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML.

Speaking at a program titled ‘Progress so far in the implementation of the Second National Action Plan and Future Directions’ organized by the National Human Rights Commission, the National Network for Conflict-affected Women and The Story Kitchen in Lalitpur on Thursday, he made this claim.

He said that it has been 10 months since he became a minister and 10 months is not a long time. He said that while there was a situation where the government changed in the past in 10 months, it would seem like the tenure of one government, but the current government will not change.

He said that the current government will not be changed in 10 months and that three or four more such 10 months will pass. .

Home Minister Lekhak said, ‘It has been 10 months since I became a minister. Again, 10 months is not too much. Not too much because earlier the government used to change every 10-10 months, because that happened, it seemed like the entire tenure of one government. This time, it will not change in ten months. We will bear three or four more such 10 months. Because of that, 10 months is not too much.’

Home Minister Lekhak said that the law on transitional justice has been completed and work has been hampered due to the incompleteness of the law. He said that they have completed the law in the last 9 months.
