Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: CpN (Unified Socialist) senior vice-chair and lawmaker Rajendra Prasad Pandey has said that it was not appropriate to run the parliament session at a time when the opposition parties were obstructing the parliament. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, he said it was not good to conduct the house at a time when the opposition parties were in opposition.
He said that the Finance Minister would express his views in the Parliament on some important issues related to the budget after the presentation of the budget, but he did not understand anything when the assembly was running while the opposition parties were shouting slogans.
“After presenting the budget today, the Finance Minister has been telling important things related to that budget, which were exempted yesterday, some important issues that need to be amended today,” he said. One of the parties in the opposition is in a state of obstruction. The other party is shouting slogans by besieging the well. We are not listening to what the minister said. How do you run a meeting? This was not the way to run the meeting. After postponing it and agreeing, let’s move forward only after making a decision. ’
He urged the meeting to be postponed and conducted only after consensus.
