Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the country’s treasury is empty. He said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the construction of Cinepa Film Cinematography Studio at Baluwatar on Tuesday.
Stating that there was a lot of money in the country’s treasury when he was the Prime Minister earlier, he said that now he should be afraid to say that he will do this work due to lack of money. He said he had inaugurated health centres in all the municipalities as he had started working to do anything as he had a lot of money when he was the Prime Minister earlier.
Stating that more than 60 health centres, which were started at the same time, are now in operation, he said that there has been talk of building a party office of the CPN-UML by collecting one rupee donation.
Pm Oli said, “Friends and brothers are very enthusiastic in one or two small tasks. They say we are raising donations. He also said that we will build our party office for one rupee each. Build a party office for one rupee. We donate every rupee and build a party office. Where do you transfer a single rupee? It doesn’t give it either. That’s one thing to say. But reality is another matter. Anyway, we have started this new work. It shouldn’t take 60 years. Land is being sought for this. The budget has also been added to it. When I was prime minister earlier, there was no shortage of money. I used to say whatever I had to do, I used to make anything. ’
Prime Minister Oli said that when he was the Prime Minister after a gap of three years, the development work was stopped at the place where he left. He said that due to lack of money, he could not dare to do this as before, adding that the economy would not go down anymore.
