Sankhuwasabha. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka has said that there is no alternative to a republic with federalism. Inaugurating the ward office building built in Lohakot, Chainpur Municipality-11 here today, he said that federalism has revealed the beautiful side of the country.
He made it clear that since the current government was formed by two major political parties in the parliament, this government has no room for complacency. He said that the government was formed for the political stability of the country.
‘We have brought political change in the country, now we have to move forward in building a prosperous Nepal by making economic changes,’ he said. Minister Khadka said that since Sankhuwasabha is a district with immense potential, it should make proper use of its resources and work towards building a prosperous district.
He said that to ensure the rights of the people below the poverty line over resources through the People’s Hydropower Program, each household will be provided with a loan of Rs 200,000 to Rs 500,000 at a concessional rate for unsecured hydropower shares, depending on the capacity of the project.
