Jhapa. Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has pointed out the need for parents to lead the nation nationally. Laying the foundation stone for the construction of a new overhead tank of Dhulabari Drinking Water Consumers’ Committee here today, General Secretary Sharma stressed the need for leadership to solve all problems in the country.

He said that every election would form a new government, but the prime minister would be the old person, increasing the complaints and dissatisfaction among the citizens. “This party, that party, this faction and that faction are not needed but the guardian of the entire nation,” he said. ’

Sharma stressed the need for formulating a concept for Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, former prime ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to play the role of guardians after 2083 BS. He said that the drinking water tank being constructed on the land donated by late Tanka Prasad Bhattarai would make it easier to distribute drinking water to some parts of Mechinagar-9, 10, 11, 14 and ward no. 15. According to him, various drinking water schemes are being implemented in Jhapa constituency no. 1 alone with a budget of about Rs 1 billion.

He laid the foundation stone of a drinking water tank to be constructed at mechinagar municipality-9 at a cost of Rs 104 million 99 thousand 647. After Bhattarai donated the same area of land purchased by the Two Kattha 10 Dhur Drinking Water Committee, a structure with an overhead tank with a capacity of 450,000 liters of water and houses for security guards is going to be constructed on five kattha land. Dhankaji Khatri, chairman of Dhulabari Drinking Water Users’ Committee, said that the contract has been awarded to be completed on November 1, 2084 BS.

State lawmaker Gopal Tamang, Mechinagar Mayor Gopal Chandra Budhathoki, Chief of Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Office, Jhapa Bikash Kafle, father of land donor Late Tanka Prasad Bhattarai, Pashupati Bhattarai, among others, spoke on the occasion.
