Kathmandu. The term of the parliamentary subcommittee formed to address the demands of the School Education Bill has been extended by 10 days. The meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee under the House of Representatives held at Singha Durbar on Monday extended the term of the subcommittee by 10 days.

The subcommittee was earlier given 35 days. After failing to reach an agreement within 35 days, the subcommittee’s term has been extended by 10 more days. In the committee meeting, subcommittee coordinator Chhabilal Bishwakarma had demanded 10 days more time.

Which was approved by the committee. Informing about this, Committee Chairman Ammar Bahadur Thapa said that the committee has approved the proposal for a 10-day extension to the subcommittee on the School Education Bill.

He said that the subcommittee had worked day and night for the previous 35 days and had serious discussions. He said that although he expected that many points would have to go to the top level for the committee, he was happy that they were finalized by the subcommittee.

Chairman Thapa said, “I would like to inform you that the committee has approved the proposal for a 10-day extension to the subcommittee on the School Education Bill. We have given 35 days, and the subcommittee has worked day and night. The subcommittee has discussed very seriously. It seemed that many points should be left out for consensus, it seemed that we should seek the consent of others, and that is why we are moving forward with this proposal. We moved forward in a very smooth manner, without any controversy.’

Chairman Thapa said that it is necessary to move forward in a way that makes the School Education Bill more prosperous.
