Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that the responsibility for capital expenditure lies with the concerned ministries.
Until now, the responsibility for all capital expenditure has been the same as that of the Ministry of Finance. In a meeting of the Ministry-level Development Problem Solving Committee held at the Ministry of Finance, Finance Minister Poudel said, “The Ministry of Finance is responsible for managing and facilitating resources. The responsibility for implementing the allocated budget and achieving progress in expenditure lies with the concerned ministry.”
Finance Minister Poudel instructed the employees to work with attention to the implementation of the allocated budget, facilitation of foreign investment, capital mobilization, use of modern technology, service delivery, etc.
Nepal Rastra Bank Acting Governor Neelam Dhungana The indicators emphasized financial stability, noting that the economy is gradually coming back to normal. Finance Secretary Ghanashyam Upadhyay expressed the view that it is necessary to move forward by making regulations and actions effective.
Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire said that internal good governance should be given priority. Ministry of Finance Spokesperson Shyam Prasad Bhandari informed that the budget preparation process for the coming year has progressed as per the schedule.
