He said that he would not comment on the budgets brought by previous ministers and that when the budget is prepared, the budget will be brought to provide drinking water even to consumers who do not have enough drinking water.

He said that there is a problem in providing easy drinking water to all consumers due to the lack of sufficient budget for drinking water and said that the government will make a budget for the people of the Himalayas, hills or Tarai in the upcoming budget.

He said that the ministry has made a plan after taking a report on the drinking water situation. He claimed that the next budget will be implemented in a way that will ensure that drinking water reaches the homes of all Nepali consumers.

Minister Yadav said, ‘I don’t know what kind of budget the previous minister made. When the next budget is made, the consumers who have not received drinking water will be made. The budget will be made for the people of the Himalayas, hills or Tarai. The ministry has taken the report on the drinking water situation and has made a plan. The next budget will be made so that drinking water reaches the homes of all Nepali consumers. It will be implemented. There is no such thing as brick or mortar. The Ministry of Drinking Water will not be influenced by anyone.’

‘We have made a plan so that water reaches the homes of 100 percent of citizens. The court has already decided on the corruption in Melamchi. I guarantee that there will be no corruption during my tenure. Melamchi’s new pipelines have expanded a lot. Leaks have been seen in the pipes. Problems are arising when new ones are being built. Technicians are working in the field. The government will move forward by solving the problem where it arises. Arrangements have been made to bring Melamchi water to Kathmandu,’ he said.

He claimed that arrangements had been made to bring Melamchi water to Kathmandu in Ashar as well. He said that the government’s plan is to bring Melamchi water to Kathmandu for twelve months.
