Lalitpur. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the opposition has obstructed the House by insisting on an unwanted issue. Inaugurating the 8th International Women Entrepreneurs Trade Fair of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs today, Prime Minister Oli said that the House should not be obstructed on the issue of staff changes of an agency by making it an off-topic issue.

He expressed concern that the House is being obstructed in a way that will affect the passage of a bill to replace the ordinances issued by Chaitra 18. ‘When competent people who have worked in the same agency for years are given responsibility, they have been praised and those who should not have been praised have been criticized.’ Prime Minister Oli said, ‘An attempt has been made to create panic about what is happening in the name of the movement. The rally and meeting that was said to be held at two places in Kathmandu on Chaitra 15 will take place. It will be over. That’s all. There is no need to make a mountain out of a molehill.’

Prime Minister Oli said that the entire Nepali society has been backward due to colonial and feudal conditions, and women in particular have been further backward, but as a result of struggle and sacrifice, society has moved forward on the journey of change and development. He clarified that the country, which was very backward during the Panchayat rule, is now moving forward in the process of all-round development and that there is no need to be disappointed, especially since large and strategically important projects have been taken forward during his time as the government leader.

A fair to be held at the Heritage Garden in Lalitpur from today to Chaitra 18 will showcase Nepali products produced by women entrepreneurs.
