Kathmandu. Bhavesh Singh, President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Italy, has said that one can become a member with confidence by visiting the website opened by the NRNA High-Level Committee to organize the general convention of the organization.
After the Badri KC faction did not provide access to the Membership Information System (MIS) in defiance of the repeated instructions of the Supreme Court, the High-Level Committee has opened its own website (www.nrnahlc.com) and started distributing free membership.
‘The current MIS system had provisions such as face verification. “But the website created by the high-level committee is very secure and you can apply by providing your identity and proof of having lived abroad for at least two years,” said Singh, who works as a data scientist in Milan, Italy.
“We are not affiliated with the MIS system. Therefore, NRNA Italy has called on all NRNs living in Italy to become members or renew their membership by visiting the high-level committee’s website,” said Singh. He also said that the data currently uploaded on the high-level committee’s website will be securely merged into the MIS system after the general convention in May.
NRNA High-Level Committee member and NCC Coordination Sub-committee coordinator Binod Kunwar has also urged all NCCs to facilitate the website created by the high-level committee to become members or renew their membership. “We take responsibility for the confidentiality of all documents uploaded to our website. The details of those documents will remain confidential as per the law,” he said.
He also appealed to all NRNs around the world to confidently subscribe and renew their membership by 31 March 2025.
