The Harichour-Malm-Pandavakhani road is being upgraded at a cost of Rs. 400 million.

Dhorpatan. The upgrading of the Harichour-Malm-Pandavakhani road has begun under the ‘One Constituency, One Strategic Road Plan’. The Road Division Office has stated that eight kilometers will be upgraded in the current fiscal year. The upgrading has been started at a cost of Rs 400 million received from the federal government.

Sagar Bhandari, engineer of the office, said that 70 percent of the work has been completed so far. Four kilometers out of the eight kilometers have been prepared for blacktop. Work is underway on the remaining sections, including widening the road, constructing drains for water drainage, and installing retaining walls.

The road, which starts from Harichaur in Galkot, connects to Pyuthan via Malm, Pandavkhani, Ramuwa Ransinghkiteni, Bhimgithe, Darling, and Nisikhola. This road is 40 kilometers long. Work has begun from the starting point of the road.
