Kathmandu. Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) MP Rekha Sharma has emphasized on the need to provide services in a way that the people can feel in order to institutionalize the federal democratic republic. Expressing her party’s opinion in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, she said that the government should work to change the situation of the people along with the change in the political system.
She mentioned that the behavior shown by the former king’s supporters in Tinkune, Kathmandu on Chaitra 15 was completely illegal and unconstitutional. Stating that the federal democratic republic was achieved through the sacrifices and sacrifices of the Nepali people, Netri Sharma, who is also the former Minister of Communications, said that no one has the right to engage in activities against the constitution and the law.
Expressing objections to the burning of government institutions, the loss of two lives, the injury of dozens of citizens, and the vandalism of public organizations in the Tinkune incident, she claimed that the government had shown weakness in taking precautions. Stating that everyone’s support and cooperation were necessary to further enrich democracy, she opined that the system should be made strong and capable by providing services to the people. She said that the government should ensure good governance and control illegal activities to strengthen the constitution and system.
MP Sharma said that the public demonstration organized by her party and parties affiliated to the Socialist Front expressed their vote in favor of the federal democratic republic and the constitution. She stated that her party would warn the government to take appropriate action and informed that the obstruction in the federal parliament has been suspended for the time being. She said that the government had done injustice by removing the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. She repeatedly demanded that any culprits involved in the Tinkune incident be brought to justice.
