Kathmandu. CPN (Maoist Center) Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey has said that the delay in passing the bill is due to the government. Speaking at the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee meeting on Wednesday, he said this.
He alleged that the minister came to the committee and said that the bill should be expedited, but the delay in passing the bill is due to the government. He said that the government should take the bill seriously.
He said, ‘The Honorable Home Minister always comes to the committee and says that the bill should be expedited. But the bill has not been passed quickly because of the government. The government should take this issue seriously. Our chairman, whether it is a matter of authority or civil service, has not taken any initiative on behalf of the chairman and the leadership of the committee.’
Chief Whip Pandey accused the committee chairman of not being able to take any initiative by showing special interest.
