Gandaki. Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has said that the government is committed to making necessary investments by prioritizing agriculture.
Expressing a message of best wishes today on the occasion of National Paddy Day, he expressed his commitment to make necessary investments in agriculture to fulfill the resolution of ‘production in our own soil, respect for our own labor, self-reliant and prosperous province with food sovereignty: happy province residents’.
The message states, ‘The continuous labor, dedication and production of farmers have made an invaluable contribution to the country’s food security. The Gandaki Provincial Government has prioritized the issues of commercial agricultural production, conservation of local crops, production-based subsidies, marketing of agricultural products, management of fertilizers, seeds and irrigation, and food security in its policies, programs and budget. He urged everyone to support, cooperate and collaborate for its implementation.
