Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepalese Industries and Businessmen is going to hold an industrial exhibition. The federation is going to hold the exhibition on the occasion of its anniversary and general meeting.
The federation’s coordinator Bhagirath Sapkota informed that the industrial exhibition is going to be held to market the products produced by micro and domestic, small and medium to large industries in the country. ‘Due to the long-term economic recession, the morale of industrialists and businessmen is currently declining,’ he said, ‘The industrial exhibition is going to be held to create an industrial environment and make economic activities in the country dynamic.’
He also informed that the federation is going to hold the exhibition for 2 days on the occasion of its own general meeting. “We are holding the annual general meeting of the federation at Karki Banquet in Babarmahal on Chaitra 28 and 29,” he said. “On that occasion, we will invite industrialists from all over the country to attend and exhibit the products they produce.” He also informed that the venue will be made a gathering place for producers and buyers.
The exhibition will feature products produced by small and medium farmers to large industrialists from East Mechi to West Mahakali, said Gopal Khanal, coordinator of the fair sub-committee. “We are setting up more than 100 stalls at the fair, from small, small and domestic to medium and large,” he said, “where stalls will be available from Jimbu, Yarcha, Silajit to Eastern Chhurpi, from Cardamom to Tea and Coffee, which are found in Karnali.” He also informed that the products of large industries from every sector will be on sale and exhibited at the fair. 1,500 industrialists and businessmen from all over the country are expected to attend the 2-day general assembly of the federation.
