Myagdi. CpN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the country would not return to the old system.
Speaking at a programme organised by Gyan Prakash Model Secondary School at Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 here today, Chairman Dahal said the country would not turn back from the federal democratic republican system of governance established with the long political struggle and people’s strength.
“We have to correct the shortcomings of this system and move forward. The political leadership should work in a way that does not disappoint the people,” he said. He also said that he used to go to the doorsteps of the people to understand their problems. Chairman Dahal said that every effort would be made from his side to complete the Kaligandaki Corridor as soon as possible.
