Surkhet. Karnali Province Chief Minister Yamalal Kandel has said that the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority should become more responsible. He said that the authority should be aware of complaints filed with the intention of causing harm.
At a program organized by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Surkhet here today, Chief Minister Kandel said that the practice of filing complaints saying that he got what he got right and others got what they got wrong should end during development work. He stressed that all parties should be equally responsible in development work.
Karnali Province Chief Yagyaraj Joshi said that the role of the Authority should be changed. Stating that the work done by the Authority has been overturned by the courts, he said that these issues should be discussed. ‘If there is no sense of fear in the society, that society will be loose,’ said Province Chief Joshi. He emphasized that the state’s regulatory bodies should be strong.
