Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by a modest percentage on the last trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has closed at 2743.74 points, up 3.14 points. On Thursday, 156,37,06 shares of 309 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of 8.62 billion 76,87,599 rupees.
While the share prices of 81 companies increased on Thursday, the share prices of 158 companies decreased while the share prices of 5 companies remained stable.
Nepal Re Insurance and Himalayan Re Insurance had the highest turnover on Thursday. Nepal Re Insurance has recorded a turnover of Rs 656.6 million, while Himalayan Re Insurance has collected Rs 383.7 million.
Also, on Thursday, the share price of 1 company entered a positive circuit, while the share price of Balefi Hydropower Company decreased by 8.35 percent.
