Stock market rises by double digits, transaction amount more than Rs 8.5 billion

Kathmandu. On the fourth trading day of the week, the stock market has increased by double digits. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at 2,693.06 with a gain of 17.44 points.

A total of 2 million 759 thousand 547 units of shares of 323 companies were traded on Wednesday and a total of Rs 8.58 billion was collected.

On Wednesday, Ngadi Group Power Company recorded the highest turnover. The company has collected more than Rs 1.05 billion. Shares of the company have reached Rs 398 per share.

On Wednesday, the value of shares of 148 companies increased, while the price of 97 companies decreased and the price of two companies remained stable.

At the same time, the share price of two companies remained stable on Wednesday, while the share price of one company declined by 5.26 percent.
