Stock market rises by 5 points, trading volume declines

Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by modest percentage points on the third trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed at 2613.08 points, up 5.08 points.

On Tuesday, 11.626 million 20 shares of 311 companies were traded, worth Rs 6.19 billion 1.41 billion, compared to Rs 6.57 billion 4.77 billion the previous day.

On Tuesday, while the share prices of 106 companies increased, the share prices of 129 companies decreased, while the share prices of 8 companies remained stable.

On Tuesday, CEDB Holdings had the highest turnover. The company collected Rs 237.6 million more. The company’s shares have reached Rs 1,775 per share.
