Kathmandu. On the first trading day of the week, the stock market fell by a moderate number. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) dropped 2.79 points to close at 2609.05.
Nine hundred forty-seven thousand 737 units of shares of 309 companies were traded on Sunday.
Nepal Re Insurance has recorded the highest turnover on Sunday. The company has a turnover of Rs 703.75 million. The share price of the company is Rs 1,297 per share.
On Sunday, the share price of 100 companies increased, while the share price of 145 companies declined and the share price of one company remained stable.
Similarly, the share price of two companies has seen a positive circuit while the share price of Corporate Development Bank has fallen by 8.71 percent.
