Stock market increases by modest figures, trading volume reaches 7.24 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by a modest percentage on the second trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 6.54 points to close at 2683.86.

On Tuesday, 13.968 million shares of 299 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 7.246 billion, 221 thousand, 260 crore.

On Tuesday, while the share prices of 134 companies increased, the share prices of 98 companies decreased, while the share prices of 11 companies remained stable.
