Stock market grows by double digits, trading volume exceeds Rs 5.44 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by double digits on the fourth trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed at 2701.48 with an increase of 25.31 points.

On Wednesday, 1442,683 shares of 318 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 5,444,435,901.

On Wednesday, CEDB Holding Limited and Himalayan Re Insurance had the highest turnover. The companies collected Rs 365.5 million. The company’s share price has reached Rs 2,455 per share, while Himalayan Re has collected an additional Rs 356 million, while the company’s share price has reached Rs 1,28 per share.

On Wednesday, the share price of 166 companies increased while the share price of 78 companies decreased.

Also, on Wednesday, the share price of 2 companies experienced a positive circuit, while the share price of one company experienced a negative circuit.
